The Haverim Way
A famous line of advice from rabbis during the time
Jesus walked the earth was,
"Get yourself a haver."

"Haver" is the Hebrew word for "friend" or "comrade".
The purpose of a haver is to find someone
who is willing to read, learn, and discuss scripture with you.
"Haverim" is simply the plural for "haver",
so Haverim are "friends who study together".
Here at The Grove, it's a small group of either 6 men
or 6 women who read, study, discuss, and share scripture.
To simplify the structure, each Small Group has a leader who facilitates the Haverim model weekly meetings and discussions.
