HELP CHURCHES AND CHURCH LEADERS IMPACTED BY DEVASTATING TORNADOS

"After the headlines fade and the initial wave of support has been received, it is often that your help is most needed. There are so many communities struggling to pick up the pieces and meet basic needs following the storms and tornadoes this past weekend. Spire Network is pleased to partner with IDES (International Disaster Emergency Services) in helping bring a continued measure of relief to those churches and leaders hit hardest by the December tornado that ripped through four states and caused more than 200 miles of devastation in its path.
IDES Disaster Response Coordinators were on the ground in the hard-hit area of Mayfield, KY meeting with Kentucky Disaster Management officials the day after tornadoes stormed through. The situation in Mayfield is grim and IDES has been told by Emergency Management to hold off sending in volunteers for the time being.
IDES has set up their initial basecamp in Bowling Green, KY with the Bowling Green Christian Church. The first phase of the deployment will involve cleanup, placing tarps on roofs, and debris removal. IDES is also partnering immediately with Hartford (KY) Christian Church to respond to damage in Beaver Dam Kentucky.

As with any disaster, funds are desperately needed to help those who are hurting. 100% of your donation will go to help the victims of these tornadoes.
